8.1 Starting and stopping the saw
(Fig. 10)
Insert the plug into a socket with a
safety contact. This must be protected
with a fuse e.g. in the terminal box. If
an extension cable is required, please
note that with a cable length of up to
20 m a cable with a cross-section of
1.5 mm
2
must be used.
• To start the saw, press the green
button marked "I"
• To stop the saw press the red
button "O"
8.2 Parallel stop
The parallel stop (6) must be used
for longitudinal cuts to wooden
parts.
8.2.1 Stop height
• Mount the parallel stop (6) on the
saw bench (1) with the clamping
plate, washers and fixing screws
(7): outer side on saw bench: fix-
ing screw (7) and washer; inner
side on saw bench: clamping
plate.
• The parallel stop provided (6) has
two guide surfaces at different
heights.
• Use the lower stop height for flat
workpieces, the higher stop height
for tall workpieces.
• To change the height of the stop,
open the fixing screws (7) on the
parallel stop (6) and remove it
from the bench.
• Rotate the parallel stop (6) by
180°, so that the end, which was

pointing towards the front, is now
pointing to the back.
• Refasten the fixing screws (7).
8.2.2 Cutting width (Fig. 7)
• The parallel stop (6) can be
mounted on both sides of the saw
bench (1).
• Loosen both fixing screws (7).
• With the help of the scale (3) on
the saw bench (1), the parallel
stop (6) can be set to the desired
size.
• Tighten both fixing screws (7) to
fix the parallel stop (6).
• Measure the cutting width
between the saw blade and paral-
lel stop in additional to the scale
display. Make a sample cut after
adjusting the settings to check the
set size.
8.3 Cross­stop
The cross-stop (15) must be used
for cross-cutting wooden parts.
• Fasten the stop bar (13) with the
screws and knurled screws (16) to
the cross-stop (15).
• Slide the cross-stop (15) into the
groove (2) of the saw bench.
• Loosen fixing screw (14).
• Rotate stop bar (13) until the
arrow points to the desired angle
size.
• Tighten the fixing screw (14)
again.
