tact with the saw blade.
j) Make sure that the saw blade
is mounted in the correct rota
tion direction. Do not use grind
ing wheels or wire brushes with
the circular bench saw. Incor-
rect mounting of the saw blade or
using non-recommended acces-
sories may lead to serious inju-
ries.
WARNING! When carrying out
setting and maintenance
work pull out the mains plug.
• Do not use the saw to cut up fire-
wood.
CARE! There is a risk of injury
to hands and fingers from the
moving saw blade.
• The saw is fitted with a safety
switch (11) to prevent it restarting
after a voltage drop.
• Use a cable drum only in the
unrolled condition!
• Ensure good lighting.
• Operators must be at least 18
years old. Trainees must be at
least
16 years old and under supervi-
sion.
• Keep the workplace free of wood
waste and other objects.
• Persons operating the saw bench
must not be distracted.
Note the direction of motor
and saw blade rotation.

• After switching off the saw do not
try to slow down the moving saw
blade by pressing it from the side.
• Fit well sharpened, crack-free and
undeformed saw blades only.
• Do not use circular saw blades
of high-alloy high-speed steel
(HHSS).
• Only use saw blades recommend-
ed by the manufacturer which, if
intended for cutting wood or simi-
lar materials, fulfil EN 847-1.
• Defective saw blades must be
replaced immediately.
• Do not use saw blades which do
not conform to the characteris-
tic data specified in these operating
instructions.
Do not expose to rain or mois-
ture.
• Ensure that all of the mechanisms
that cover the saw blade are fully
functional.
• The moveable safety hood (5)
must not jam fast when open.
• Safety fixtures on the saw bench
must not be removed or made
unusable.
• Damaged or defective safety fix-
tures must be replaced at once.
For every task carried out, the
protective hood (5) must be
lowered onto the work piece.
