Working with the circular bench
saw

The saw blade protection (5) must
always be lowered onto the work-
piece.
The work setting for longitudinal
cuts must never be in line with the
course of the cut.
• Set parallel stop (6) in accordance
with the workpiece height and
desired width.
• Switch on the saw.
• Place your hands flat on the
workpiece with your fingers
closed and slide the workpiece
along the parallel stop (6) into the
saw blade (25).
• Only guide from the side with
your left or right hand (depend-
ing on the position of the parallel
stop) as far as the front edge of
the protective hood.
• Always slide the workpiece to the
end of the splitting wedge (29).
• Waste cuttings stay on the saw
bench (1) until the saw blade (25)
is back in its resting position.
• Secure long workpieces against
pitching at the end of cutting!
(e.g. unwind frames etc.)
9.1.1 Cutting narrow workpieces
(Fig. 11)
Longitudinal cuts of workpieces with
a width of less than 150 mm must
always be made with the help of a
push stick (31). The push stick is
included in the scope of delivery.
Change worn-out and/or damaged
push sticks immediately.
