Motor connection
ƒ To comply with the EMC regulations, Lenze recommends to use shielded motor
ƒ Shield clamps are not included in the scope of supply.
Parallel connection of master and slave (motor side)
In order to connect the motor cables of master and slave to the motor, the outputs must
be connected in parallel.
It is important for the parallel connection of the inverter outputs that the outputs are
decoupled by means of an inductance between master and slave. The length of the motor
cables determine whether the inductance of the cables is sufficient for a decoupling.
2 motor connections ensure sufficient decoupling.

cables.
Stop!
The user is responsible for sufficient strain relief!
– If the single motor cable length is ≤ 10 m, master and slave must be connected in
parallel via chokes on the motor side to achieve a sufficient decoupling between
master and slave.
– If the single motor cable length is > 10 m, the motor cables of master and slave can
be connected in parallel at the motor to achieve a sufficient decoupling between
master and slave.
