1.2 Cleaning

Use an anti-static product identical to that in the cleaning kit provided.
Never use alcohol, acetone or other solvents, which may damage your clock's casing or glass.

1.3 Safety instructions - Precautions for use

Caution: this equipment must be fitted and maintained by a qualified person.
The clocks are connected to the mains power supply. The installation must comply with standard
IEC 364 (NFC 15-100 in France).
Provide a Phase-neutral circuit breaker of 16 A maximum, rapidly accessible upstream from the
power-supply line. This circuit breaker provides power supply protection and disconnecting, and
must be cut off in the event of maintenance.
The equipment must only be powered up after it has been attached.
NOTE: The wall plugs must be suitable for the type of wall to which the clock is attached. In
addition to the clock, the attachment must support 5 kg.
It is necessary to attach the mains wires to the electronic board above the terminal block to avoid
placing strain on the connection terminals and to ensure that these wires are not in contact with the
SELV circuits to provide Class II isolation.
Furthermore, conductors on the same circuit must be attached to each other close to the terminal
block to avoid reduced isolation should one of the terminals become loose.
