Battery type

Your DTC 500 game camera is a high precision instru­
ment. It is recommended to use high quality alkaline,
lithium or NiMH batteries. Go to "Battery Type" in the
main menu and press OK or the Right button. Select ei­
ther "Alkaline" or "NiMH" using the Up / Down buttons.
(Note: when using lithium batteries select "Alkaline").
Press OK to save the setting. This will bring you back
to the main menu.
Format the memory card (SD Card)
Formatting the memory card deletes all files on the
memory card and formats the memory card for renewed
use in the camera. Go to "Format Card" in the main
menu and press OK or the Right button. Select "YES"
and then press OK to format your memory card. If you
decide not to format your card, select "NO" and then
press OK. Pressing OK in both cases will bring you back
to the main menu.

Camera information

Go to "Camera Information" in the main menu and press
press OK or the Right button to enter the submenu. In
the submenu, you can use the Up / Down buttons to
choose from the following menu items: "Files Count",
"Storage", "Firmware Version"

Files Count

Press OK to view the respective number of photos and
videos on your SD card. Press MENU or OK to return to
the "Camera Information" submenu. Press MENU to
return to the main menu or use the Up / Down buttons
to select a further item.

Storage

Press OK to view the amount of used and free storage
space on your SD card. Press MENU or OK to return to
the "Camera Information" submenu. Press MENU to
return to the main menu or use the Up / Down buttons
to select a further item.

Firmware version

Press OK to see the current firmware version installed
in your DTC 500. Press MENU or OK to return to the
"Camera Information" submenu. Press MENU to return
