OK to play or pause the video. Press the Right / Left but­
tons to fast forward or rewind the video.
Press MENU to return to the main menu

Delete photos or videos

Go to "Photo/Video Playback" in the main menu and
press OK or the Right button. Select an image and press
the Up button. Choose between "Delete One" and "De­
lete All" by pressing the Up /Down buttons. After mak­
ing your choice, press OK or the Right button and then
choose "YES" or "NO". If "YES", press OK to delete – if
"NO", press OK to return back to the submenu.
Press MENU to return to the main menu.

Settings

Camera mode

You can set your DTC 500 to record either photos or vid­
eos. Go to "Camera Mode" in the main menu. Press OK
or the Right button to enter the submenu. Here you can
select the desired recording format ("Photo" / "Video")
using the Up / Down buttons. Press OK to save the set­
ting. This will bring you back to the main menu.

Video length

With this setting, you can determine the length of the
videos to be recorded. Go to the menu item "Video
Length" in the main menu. Press OK or the Right but­
ton to enter the submenu. Press the Up / Down buttons
to select the desired length and then OK to save the
setting.

Image resolution

"Photo Resolution" is displayed in the main menu only
if "Photo" has been selected in "Camera Mode". Go to
"Photo Resolution" in the main menu. Press OK or the
Right button to enter the submenu. Here, the image
resolution can be set to 8MP, 5MP, 3MP, 1.3MP. Select
the desired resolution with the Up / Down buttons and
then OK to save the setting. This will bring you back to
the main menu.

Photo Burst

"Photo Burst" is displayed in the main menu only if
"Photo" has been selected in "Camera Mode". With
this function, the camera can shoot from one to nine
photos in sequence every time the shutter release has
been activated. Go to "Photo Burst" in the main menu
