• Time Format
Select the desired format in 12 or 24 hours using the
Up / Down buttons and press OK to save the setting.
Press MENU to return to the main menu.
• Set Date / Time
Here you can adjust the year / month / day in the top row
and the hours / minutes / AM / PM in the bottom row.
Make your settings using the Up / Down buttons and the
Right / Left buttons to select the item to be set. When all
settings have been made, press OK to save the settings.
Note: The lunar calendar is automatically adjusted if
the time and date is set properly. The lunar phase is
displayed within the time stamp (if activated) on each
photo or video.
Press MENU to return to the main menu.

Password

This function enables you to enter a 4­digit password to
protect the data on your DTC 500 in the case of theft.
Once activated, the camera cannot be operated without
entering this password.

Set Password

Go to "Password" in the main menu and press OK or the
Right button to enter the submenu. Here you can choose
between "Set Password" or "Disable Password" using
the Up / Down buttons. Go to "Set Password" and press
OK or the Right button. Enter the desired numbers from
0 to 9 in each field using the Up / Down buttons and
the Left / Right buttons to change from digit to digit.
Once you have entered the desired combination, press
OK to save it. This will bring you back to the main menu.

Disable Password

Go to "Password" in the main menu and press OK or
the Right button to enter the submenu. Go to "Disable
Password" using the Up / Down button and verify with
OK. This will bring you back to the main menu.
