HPG 3000
8.1.2 Switch point / hysteresis settings (EDS 4000) or
Switch point / switch-back point settings (EDS 800 – L)
It sets the switch point at which the switching output will switch according to its N/O or
N/C direction (see 8.1.4) when the value goes above this point.
The switching output switches back if the value falls below the switch-back point.
In case of EDS 4000 a hysteresis for the switch point is set.
The hysteresis determines the switch-back point:
switch-back point = switch point minus hysteresis.
In case of EDS 800 – L the switch-back point is set directly.

8.1.3 Window function setting
The window function enables a range to be monitored. For each switching output,
an upper and a lower switching value can be input which determines the range.
The respective output switches when the pressure enters this range. Upon leaving the range,
i.e. when the switch-back value has been reached, the output switches back.
The area between switching value and switch-back value forms a safety zone which prevents
unwanted switching operations from occurring (e.g. triggered by pulsations from a pump).
