5.2.3 Using the Bead Pusher MH
To aid demounting of wheels with particularly rigid or
low profi le tires it is possible to use either the Bead
Pusher or the Bead Breaker Disc, or use both together.
The bead pusher holder rod position can be set to
three different heights.

Remove the block of rod 1, adjust to the necessary
height and block.
Using the Bead Pusher MH

The Bead Pusher device allows the bead to be held
in the rim drop center and is usually used on the side
diametrically opposite the demount tool.
•
Bring the bead pusher device 1 onto the tire in a
position opposite to that of the demount tool.
•
Exert a pressure such as to bring the bead to the
height of the rim drop center.
Note:
During the mounting tasks the operator can
make use of the Bead Pusher tool.
