MOUNTING THE UPPER BEAD
Activate Lever "2" to position the tools on the upper
side of the wheel.
The automated cycle stops to allow the operator to
create a space manually on the tire to house the tool.
Lever "2" should then be activated again to position
the tool and the disk on the upper bead.
The machine then stops again (the machine beeps)
to allow the valve in the rim and/or the bead pusher
aids to be positioned.
At this point it is essential that you DO NOT USE the
lever "2" to activate rotation. Instead use the pedal (3,
Fig.4.1-3) to mount the upper bead.
WARNING:
DO NOT ACTIVATE THE LEVER BEFORE YOU HAVE
COMPLETED THE BEAD INSERTION OPERATION
USING THE PEDAL.
Having removed the bead pusher aids, activate the
lever "2" again to move the tools and bead breaking
disks into the idle position.
The last phase is now fi nished; the tools and disks
are out of the operating area, the machine beeps and
the "MANUAL MODE" message appears again on the
Display.
The Automatic Mounting Program is now fi nished,
which means the entire work cycle is fi nished too.
