4.2.6 Closer Tool Function
To select/deselect the "Closer Tool" function:
• Press ley "F" (4,Fig.4.1-1).
Note: Press and release the key. A long press will
produce a different response.
Press the key at the appropriate moment of the
operating phase (that is to say, after entering the wheel
data). The display shows a less than symbol (<) located
immediately after the Rim Diameter size (Fig.4.2-2).
The "Closer Tool" function is now active.
IMPORTANT:
The function can only be activated if the machine has
been calibrated with a 2-point calibration device.
The less than (<) symbol is shown on the display for
the entire time during which the function is active. It
is automatically cleared from the display when the
mounting/demounting operation has been completed.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT USE THIS FUNCTION WITH THE
FOLLOWING
- OVAL OR DENTED RIMS
- DAMAGE OR IRREGULARITIES IN THE RIM
CENTRAL HOLE
- TOOL PLASTIC GUARDS DAMAGED OR
MISSING.
