REMOVING THE LOWER BEAD
Keep the lever (2, Fig.4.1-2) activated to operate the
lower tire removal tool.
Then the machine stops automatically as the operator
has to fi t the bead onto the tool manually.
Now continue with the last phase where the tire is
removed completely from the rim and the tools and
discs are positioned to start the mounting operations.
The machine emits a beep and the message "MANUAL
MODE" appears again on the display.
At this point the Automatic Demounting Program has
fi nished.
WARNING:
WHEN THE UNCLAMP RIM PEDAL IS PRESSED ALL
THE ACQUIRED DATA IS DELETED.
4.2.2 Automatic Mounting Program
Having removed the tire, the work cycle can continue
by mounting a new tire.
To proceed with mounting operation you should:
• Select the Automatic Mounting (5, Fig.4.1-1) key.
Within the Automatic Mounting Program the following
Subprograms are run in this order:
- Mounting the lower bead
- Mounting the upper bead
MOUNTING THE LOWER BEAD
• Activate the lever (2, Fig.4.1-2).
The tool moves up to the rim. This phase ends with an
initial machine stop.
• Position the tire on the rim.
• Activate the Pedal (3, Fig.4.1-3), to fi t the lower
bead onto the rim.
Note: Every time the work cycle begins with a Mounting
Program or if the wheel has been unclamped after
the Automatic Demounting Program, the machine
laser scanner scans the entire rim profile to
ascertain the exact positions of the fl anges.
