14. Practical flying tips

• Even if the model needs little space to fly, we recommend a free space of about 5 x 5 m for your first flight attempts.
• The surface should be flat (tiles, parquet floor, PVC etc.) so that you can see right after takeoff if the model drifts into
a certain direction.
• Position yourself directly behind your helicopter. As long as you look at your model from behind, it will respond to the
control commands right, left, forward, backward exactly as you are looking. If the cockpit of the model points towards
you, it moves into the opposite direction of your steering commands.
