If the helicopter turns or tilts to the right, reduce the speed and push the trim slider for the roll function gradually to the
left. Push the control stick for the pitch function forward carefully and check if the adjustment is sufficient. Repeat the
procedure until the model does not show any tendency to drift to the right. If the helicopter drifts to the left, carry out a
trim adjustment to the right (ill. 15c).
Due to the direction of rotation of the rotor it is entirely normal for the helicopter to drift to the left just
before lifting off. Since this happens only at a particular speed just before lifting off, you should try to
sensitively control this effect. You can then check the correct position of the roll trim slider while the
helicopter is hovering.
If the helicopter drifts forward, reduce the speed and push the trim slider for the nick function gradually backwards.
Push the control stick for the pitch function forward carefully and check if the adjustment is sufficient. Repeat the
procedure until the model does not show any tendency to drift forward. If the helicopter drifts backwards, carry out a
trim adjustment forward (ill. 15d).
