If the valve system must be expanded by one or more valve
positions, follow the steps described here.

Adding additional valve positions

Turn off the system operating voltage and compressed air.
The maximum number of 16 valve positions may not be
exceeded.

Before installing the valve block, check whether the
tie-rods (Pos. 2) have been completely screwed into the
end plate (Pos. 1).
The tie rod extensions are adjusted to the expansion
coefficients of the subplates so that the valve system
gaskets remain intact under all operating conditions.
When mounting, ensure that all contacts are straight and
that all gaskets have been correctly inserted.

Tightening torque: 3.0 ... 3.5 Nm
5. Place the valve(s) (10) on the new subplate(s) (5) and make
sure that all contacts and gasket(s) are placed correctly.
Screw on the valve(s) (10) using 2 self-cutting Philips
screws (12), type Z, size 1 ("Pozidrive").
Tightening torque: 1.1 ... 1.3 Nm.
Power wrench speed: 300 ... 600 rpm.
6. Move the manual overrides into zero position.
7. Set up pneumatic connections.
