Call qualified service personnel to conduct
at least a functional test and additionally a
safety check including 1) an insulation test;
2) a ground continuity test; and 3) a leakage
current test according to IEC 60601-1.
 The protection is likely to be impaired if,
for example, the device:
- Shows visible damage;
- Fails to perform the intended function(s);
- Has been subjected to severe transport
stress.

tapped, single phase circuit.
NOTE Unplugging the power line cable from
the mains input on the Isolating Transformer,
disconnects the mains power to all supplied
devices.

plied with the system into this socket.
NOTE Only use a shielded power cord from
Natus.

Maintenance

The maintenance that can be performed by the
operator is limited to cleaning and disinfecting
the device. Any maintenance inside the device
must be performed by qualified service
personnel only.
 Before cleaning the device(s), switch off at
the mains.
 Clean the device with a clean, slightly
damp cloth, and wipe it dry.
CAUTION Do not use solvent silicon-based or
abrasive cleaning agents.
CAUTION Make sure that no liquids enter the
device through the connectors and other
openings in the enclosure.
