b) Sharpening the saw chain
Warning! Risk of cuts! Wear protective gloves before/while sharpening the blade.
We recommend having the saw chain sharpened by a professional personnel. If you decide to sharpen the
saw chain by yourself, observe the sharpening instructions provided with the sharpening kit.
1. Dismount the guide bar (1) and saw chain (2).
Before sharpening the saw chain, inspect the guide bar first. If the guide bar is unevenly used (Ú Fig. 26),
it is caused by a damaged saw chain. In this case, replace the saw chain.
2. Slide the saw chain back into the saw chain slot around the guide bar.
3. Fix the guide bar in a vice.
