• Follow the manufacturer's sharpening and maintenance instructions for the saw chain.
Decreasing the depth gauge height can lead to increased kickback.
• It is recommended that the first time user should have practical instruction in the use of the product and
the protective equipment from an experienced operator and that the initial practice should be cutting logs
on a vice, saw horse or cradle.
• Do not allow others to hold wood during cutting.
• Position the cord so that it will not be caught on branches and the like, during cutting.
• For additional protection, we recommend the use of a residual current device (RCD) with a tripping
current not exceeding 30 mA in the electrical circuit supplying power to the product. The installation
should be done by an experienced electrician.
• If you want to use an extension cable when operating this product, use only the following cable
dimensions:
1.0 mm : max. length 40 m

1.5 mm : max. length 60 m
2
2.5 mm : max. length 100 m

• If the replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has to be done by the manufacturer or his agent
in order to avoid a safety hazard.

not adequately managed and properly maintained.
• Injuries and damage to property due to broken application tools or the sudden impact of hidden objects
during use.
• Danger of injury and property damage caused by flying objects.
g) Service
• Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
