Maintenance and Cleaning

• The soldering station requires no servicing apart from replacing the soldering tip
now and then.
• Before cleaning, switch off the soldering station and disconnect it from the mains
voltage; pull the mains plug from the mains socket.
Let the soldering gun and the soldering station cool off suffi ciently.
• The outside of the soldering station should only be cleaned with a clean, soft, dry
cloth.
Never use any aggressive cleansing agents or chemical solutions since these may
damage the casing or impair its function.
• The soldering tip does not require any special cleaning. It is suffi cient to clean it of
fl ux agent or excess solder now and then at the dry cleaner while soldering.
Before switching off the soldering station, the soldering tip must be tinned
well. This prevents corrosion of the soldering tip.

Disposal

Electric and electronic products must not be disposed of in the domestic
waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the rel-
evant statutory regulations.
