Time will start to countdown and an alarm is emitted upon reaching 0:00. Press any button to stop the
alarm. If the display shows "
", no pulse signal can be detected.
During workout, the computer automatically controls the resistance that keeps you exercising constantly
within the target pulse range. If you are remarkably lower than the target pulse rate, the resistance will
automatically be increased step by step every 30 seconds until your target heart rate is reached. If you
are above the set target heart rate, the computer will automatically decrease the resistance every 15
seconds until level 1 (lowest level) has been reached. With that, the computer will emit 2 short beeps. If
you are still above the set target heart rate and the lowest level is applied, the computer will alarm after
30 seconds and will stop the exercise automatically.
If the pulse signal is lost during exercise, the computer will lower the resistance as well every 15 seconds
until level 1 is reached. If still no pulse signal can be received after exercising on lowest level for 30
seconds, the computer will stop the exercise automatically.
RACE Mode
Your rowing device also offers a race mode to simulate a rowing competition. Select RACE mode with
"UP" & "DOWN" (figure 10), press ENTER. Set SPM (strokes per minute) with "UP", "DOWN" and "EN-
TER" (default=10+/-5) and also set rowing distance (figure 11; default=500+/-100). Press START/STOP to
start the training. The computer will display the status of you and the computer (PC) as your rival (figure
12 shows the rowing distances). You may change the tension level at any time during exercise with "UP"
and "DOWN".
The first rower (you or computer) who completes the rowing distance, wins the race. The computer will
stop the exercise at this time (figure 13) and will beep four times. You may press any button to stop the
alarming.
Press START/STOP to stop the training. Press RESET to return to initial menu.
