7.3. Time and Date setting

Enter the menu by pressing the »MENU« key and navigate to »ENTER TIME/DATE«,
then press the »OK/DIAL« key to enter the time and date settings.
The first setting is the year. Press the -UP or -DOWN buttons to set the current year.
Press the »OK/DIAL« key to confirm.
Next, the month date is set. Press the -UP or -DOWN buttons to set the current
month. Press the »OK/DIAL« key to confirm.
The next setting is the day date. Press the -UP or -DOWN buttons to set the current
day. Press the »OK/DIAL« key to confirm.
Continue with the hour setting. Press the -UP or -DOWN buttons to set the current
hour in the 24 hour format. Press the »OK/DIAL« key to confirm.
The next setting is the minutes. Press the -UP or -DOWN buttons to set the current
minute count. Press the »OK/DIAL« key to confirm.
The settings are saved and the display returns to the main menu options.
7.4. Name Recording
»Name Recording« serves to record your own voice for a phonebook entry. The recor-
ding will be played back when the number of an incoming call is identified as one listed
in the phonebook.
Enter the menu by pressing the »MENU« key and navigate to »NAME RECORDING«.
Press the »OK/DIAL« key. The display will show the phonebook list.
Select a phonebook entry with the -UP or -DOWN buttons. Press and hold the »OK/
DIAL« key while you record your voice (»VOICE« will flash on the display while holding
the key). The maximum recording length is 3 seconds.
The procedure can be repeated if the recording did not have the desired result.

7.5. Record Message

»Record Message« enables you to record your own message for the SOS emergency
call procedure. During the emergency call routine, the recorded message will be played
back to the recipient of the call and will also be played back on the telephone speaker
while the emergency call is being made.
Enter the menu by pressing the »MENU« key and navigate to »RECORD MESSAGE«.
Press and hold the »OK/DIAL« key while you record your voice (»VOICE« will flash on
the display while holding the key). The maximum recording length is 15 seconds.
After ending the recording, the recording message will be played back.
The procedure can be repeated if the recording did not have the desired result.
