7.6. Check Message

»Check Message« gives you the possibility to check the user-recorded SOS call messa-
ge and reset it to the default pre-recorded SOS message if desired.
Enter the menu by pressing the »MENU« key and navigate to »CHECK MESSAGE«.
The SOS message will be played back from the loudspeaker when you press the »OK/
DIAL« key.
To reset your own recorded SOS message to the pre-recorded SOS message:
While playing back your own recorded SOS message, press the »DEL« key. The own
recorded message will be reset to the default pre-recorded message ("This is an emer-
gency call, to accept the call press zero").

7.7. LCD Language setting

Changing the setting of »LCD LANGUAGE« will not only change the language of the
menu but also of the voice prompts given by the phone.
Enter the menu by pressing the »MENU« key and navigate to »LCD LANGUAGE«.
Press the »OK/DIAL« key. Navigate through the list of the 11 available languages with
-UP or -DOWN buttons and press the »OK/DIAL« key when the desired language
is indicated on the display.
Please note: When selecting English, German, French, Italian, Dutch or Spanish, the
voice of the talking telephone function will change accordingly. The caller ID, pre-dialling,
menu prompt and the default SOS messages are also correspondingly changed.
If other languages than these are selected as the LCD language, the voice of the caller
ID, the pre-dialling announcement and the default SOS message will be disabled.

7.8. Voice setting

In this setting, the language of the phone voice can be selected.
Enter the menu by pressing the »MENU« key and navigate to »VOICE«. Press the
»OK/DIAL« key. Use the -UP or -DOWN buttons to choose between English
GermanFrenchItalianSpanishDutch or select »VOICE NO« to deactivate the
function. Set the desired language with the »OK/DIAL« key.
The caller ID, pre-dialling, menu prompt and the default SOS messages are also corre-
spondingly changed.
Please note: If »VOICE« is modified after the »LCD LANGUAGE« setting, the language
of the voice can be different from language type of the display!

7.9. Set flash time

In case the telephone is connected to an internal telephone system, it may be necessary
to modify the flash time. This setting can be ignored if the telephone is connected to an
individual phone line.
Enter the menu by pressing the »MENU« key and navigate to »SET FLASH TIME«.
