Electrical installation:
The blower is designed for 3 x 380-480V 50/60Hz
voltage range.
All local regulations must be complied with. Check that
the on site electricity supply is suitable for the blower.
See also the separate instructions for the blower´s elec-
trical equipment, that is supplied with the blower.
Important: The blower must be potential equalized via
the clamp located to the right of the cable relief for the
supply cable, at the bottom of the blower's base frame
(at the symbol for equipotential bonding).
In addition, the blower is supplied with a 10 meter sup-
ply cable between control box and blower, in order to
ensure quick access to the main switch in the control
box, in the event of an accident and the like. If the 10
meter cable is replaced with a longer cable, an extra
emergency stop must be established near the blower.
The supply and potential equalizing cables are con-
nected as follows (the photos shown reflect a specific
motor brand and may therefore look different on the
actual blower):
1 - remove blower covers screws on both sides, and
lift away all covers. Remove the 4 screws holding the
upper panel in place, loosen the drain hoses at the
bottom support, and remove the upper panel. If neces-
sary, push down the panel to release it from the side
enclosures.
2 - the cable relief unions are loosened. The power
supply and thermistor cables are guided through the
bottom frame of the blower.
3 - the motor connection box lid is removed, and the
thermistor cable is guided through the cable relief union
as shown.
4 - the thermistor cable is connected into the terminals
(push down the bushings), and the cable relief re-tight-
ened.
