Always turn off the power to the blow-
er prior to repair and maintenance
and make sure it cannot be started in
error.
Never put your hand or others body
parts into the blower inlet or outlet
whilst the blower is running. A serious
risk of personnel injury may occur
should contact be made with any of
its moving parts. The rotor may only
be touched when it is completely
stopped, and it is ensured that the
blower cannot be started.
Mounting:
The MultiAir blower is delivered from the factory ready
to use and needs only to have the control box installed,
be connected to the power supply and have pipes on
the blower intake / outlet. If the blower is to be moved,
a forklift or similar should be used which lifts from un-
derneath the bottom frame. The forks must be long
enough to lift both sides of the bottom frame.
Make sure that the blower and control box is set up so
that it is easily accessible for operation and mainte-
nance. The blower must be set up on a stable surface
that is level and horizontal. Adjust the machine feet
under the blower so that they support evenly on the
ground. The blower must not be attached to the surface
or building parts, as the vibration dampers under the
blower will otherwise not work.
The blower is designed so that it can be set up out-
doors. The blower is designed for an ambient tem-
perature of -30°C to 50°C, the control box for ambient
temperature -10°C to 50°C. Kongskilde recommends
mounting the control box indoors, as this makes it
easier to place the frequency converter at an optimal
temperature. In addition, the operator panel in the
control box door must be protected from sunlight and
precipitation.
Please note that there is sufficient fresh air supply to
the room from which the blower takes the intake air,
when installing indoors.

Installation of piping:
The conveying performance of a pneumatic conveying
system is highly dependent on the layout of the piping.
It is therefore important to follow the layout that has
been designed for the installation in question. Bear in
mind that the joints of the pipe system must be tight as
leaks will reduce the conveying performance.
The blower can move large volumes of air and can
therefore generate high noise levels. It must therefore
be ensured that the connected piping is noise-insulated
sufficient to comply with all local requirements from the
authorities. This can be done by mounting inline silenc-
ers on the blower's intake and outlet; possibly com-
bined with additional sound attenuation.
If the blower is not connected with piping to the inlet
side it is recommended to connect an inline silencer to
avoid excessive noise levels.
It is possible to make complete installations where
the system is kept at a low noise level provided care
is taken to seal joints, and adequate pipe insulation is
used. Contact Kongskilde for more info.

Use cable ferrules for the 24V cable, and do not extend
the cables as joints may impair reliability.
