ADJUSTING THE LOW FLAME ON DUAL BURNERS
Inner Simmer Burner
5. Place the knob back on the burner shaft and ignite the burner. Turn the valve to the simmer position. FIG G shows the
flame before the adjustment. Now, turn the adjustment screw (2) CLOCKWISE until you feel resistance, then stop. The inner
flame will be reduced to the proper level shown in (FIG H) below. and bullnose removed.

6. On the Dual Burners, the Outer burner Low flame adjustment is made through the screw that is located at the base of the
gas valve shaft. In order to make the adjustment on the outer burner, you must first light the burner. Turn the burner down
half way (You will notice some resistance in the shaft when at the ½ way point as shown in (FIG I). Remove the knob and you
will see that the flat edge of the D-Shaped shaft is a the top as shown in (FIG J) and (FIG K).

7. Hold the shaft by hand or with a pair of channel locks (FIG L) and insert the adjustment screwdriver and turn CLOCKWISE
(FIG M) until you feel some resistance. This will reduce the low flame to the proper height.

Caution: Make sure that after you make the adjustment, turn the burner OFF, then back on to lite and turn to simmer to make
sure the flame stays lite. If not, adjust setting until correct.
Make the same adjustments as above to the other Dual Burner (Some Models).
