Do not operate any tool when tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medications.

Avoid wearing clothes or jewelry that can become entangled with the
moving parts of a tool. Keep long hair covered or bound.

Do not overreach when operating the tool. Proper footing and balance
enables better control in unexpected situations.
4.
Securely hold the material using both hands. Holding the material with
only one hand can cause a loss of control.

1.
Use the correct tool for the job. This tool was designed for a specific
function. Do not modify or alter this tool or use it for an unintended
purpose.
2.
Do not use the tool if any parts are damaged, broken or misplaced. Repair
or replace the parts.
3.
Remove adjusting keys and wrenches before using the tool. The tool may
eject an attached wrench or a key and cause an injury to you or a
bystander.
4.
Push the workpiece against the router cutter's direction of rotation during
the cut. This will prevent the cutter from catching the workpiece and
pulling it out of your hands and control.
5.
Do not leave the benchtop jointer unattended while it has power or is
running.
6.
Always wait until the motor has reached full speed before starting the
task.
7.
Check the cutterhead for damage before each use. A damaged cutterhead
can break during use and cause a serious injury.

Make sure the knives' alignment is parallel to the infeed table' s edge.
Also check that the knives are securely attached to the cutterhead.
8.
Inspect material for foreign objects such as staples, nails or debris.
Remove from material before cutting.
9.
Do not perform jointing/planing operations when the workpiece is shorter
than 3 x 12 in. (76 x 200 mm) or less than 1/2 in. (12 mm) thick.
