ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Letter references in parenthesis (A) refer to the included Identification Key.
Dashed numbers in parenthesis (Fig. 1-1) refer to a specific point in an
illustration or image.
1.
Align the T-slots on the fence (U2)
with the four nuts on the fence
support assembly (U3), The fence' s
arc groove (Fig. 2-2) must be on
the bottom.
2.
Push the support assembly to the
center, until it is above the arc
groove. Tighten the four flat head
screws (Fig. 2-1) to secure the
fence in place.
3.
Remove the two socket pan head
screw from the rear of the jointer.
Place the fence sliding support (U4)
against the opening in the back and
align the bolt holes (Fig. 3).
4.
Insert the two pan head screws you
removed into the support' s bolt
holes and tighten to secure the
support to the jointer (U1).
5.
Place the fence support assembly
on top of the sliding support.
Make sure it fits into the grooves
and the slots align.
6.
Slide the washer (U8) onto the
fence sliding locking handle (U7)
and push the threaded stem
through the slots (Fig. 4).
7.
Twist the square nut (U9) onto the
threaded stem.
8.
Lift the locking handle and adjust
the nut until it fits into the
bottom slot. Hold the nut and turn
the locking handle until the case is immobile on the support.
