as a young person if the use takes place in the course
of vocational training to achieve the skill under the
supervision of an instructor.

Intended use
The band saw may only be used for cutting wood or
soft plastics. It only saw bands recommended by the
manufacturer may be used. The sawing of firewood
is prohibited.
The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for
any damage resulting from non-compliance with the
provisions of the generally applicable regulations and
the provisions of this manual.
It is strictly forbidden to dismantle or modify the
protective devices on the machine, to change their
purpose or to fit other protective devices.
Even when used correctly and in compliance with all
safety regulations, there may still be residual risks.

Behaviour in an emergency
Initiate first aid measures appropriate to the injury
and call for qualified medical assistance as quickly as
possible. Protect the injured person from further inju-
ry and immobilise them. When requesting assistance,
provide the following information: 1. location of the
accident, 2. type of accident, 3. number of injured
persons, 4. type of injuries.
