• Check the speed and vibration level after each use.
• If the product exhibits an increased vibration level, the
cause must be eliminated or repaired before further
use.
• Regular, careful servicing is required to guarantee the
safety level and performance of the product.
• Clean the product at regular intervals using a damp
cloth and a little soft soap. Do not use any cleaning
products or solvents; they could attack the plastic
parts of the product. Make sure that no water can pen-
etrate the product interior.
• We recommend that you clean the product directly af-
ter every use.
• Check the product regularly for damage.
12.1
Changing the sanding sheet (11)
(Fig. 1)
The compressed air eccentric sander has a hook-and-
loop fastening system that allows the sanding sheets to
be changed quickly and easily.
Note:
Remove dust and dirt from the sanding plate before at-
taching a new sanding sheet.
1. Lift the sanding sheet (11) sideways and pull it off the
sanding plate (9) to remove it.
2. Make sure that the holes of the sanding sheet (11)
align with the holes of the sanding plate (9).
12.2
Changing the sanding plate
WARNING
Danger of injury!
Disconnect the product from the compressed air supply
before changing the sanding plate.

12.3
Lubrication
Note:
Regular lubrication is particularly important to prevent fric-
tion and corrosion damage. We recommend using a suit-
able pneumatic oil*.
* = may not be included in the scope of delivery!
12.3.1
Lubrication with mist lubricator:
As a treatment stage after the pressure reducer, a mist lu-
bricator* lubricates your product continuously and opti-
mally. A mist lubricator releases fine drops of oil into the
air flowing through it, thus guaranteeing regular lubrica-
tion.

12.3.2
Manual lubrication:
If you do not have a mist lubricator, lubricate before each
start-up or during longer operations by dripping 3 - 4
drops of pneumatic oil* into the plug nipple (5).

12.4
Top up oil
To ensure that the compressed air eccentric sander re-
mains operational for a long time, there must be sufficient
pneumatic oil* in the product.
Note:
Use harmless lubricants.
When determining which lubricants to use, you must take
into account the associated environmental, health and
safety aspects.
The following options are available to you:
• Connect a maintenance unit with oiler to the compres-
sor.
• Install an add-on oiler in the compressed air line or on
the compressed air device.
• Add approx. 3-5 drops of pneumatic oil* to the plug
nipple by hand every 15 minutes of operation.
* = may not be included in the scope of delivery!
13 Storage
Store the product and its accessories in a dark, dry and
frost-free place that is inaccessible to children.
The optimum storage temperature is between 5°C and
30˚C.
Store the product in its original packaging.
Cover the product to protect it from dust or moisture.
Store the operating manual with the product.
14 Transport
• The product must be secured against tipping and slip-
ping during transport in vehicles in order to prevent
damage and injuries.
• Protect the product from impacts, shocks and severe
vibrations, e.g. during vehicular transport.
• The product can be lifted and moved via the handle.
15 Repair & ordering spare parts
After repairs or maintenance, make sure that all safety-re-
lated parts are installed and are in perfect condition. All
parts which may cause injury must be kept where they
are inaccessible to children or others.
ATTENTION
According to the German Product Liability Act, no liabili-
ty is accepted for damage caused by improper repairs
or by not using original spare parts.
Such work should be performed by a customer service
centre or an authorised specialists. The same applies to
accessory parts.
