2. Disconnect the product from the compressed air
source after work.
Note:
First disconnect the hose from the compressed air source
(compressor) and only then remove the supply hose from
the product. In this way you avoid whirling of the supply
hose.

Regulate oscillating power
• The speed controller (6) can be used to vary the air
flow and thus the oscillating power during operation.
• The ideal oscillation power depends on the material
and can be determined by a practical trial.
• Check the speed and vibration level after each use.
Set the correct working pressure using the pressure re-
ducer. Use the product with a working pressure of max.
6.3 bar.
11 Working instructions
The most important thing when sanding is to use sanding
sheets with progressively finer grits. If the grit is too
coarse, the surface will not be smooth, but even rougher.
If the grit is too fine, you will hardly achieve any results.
The removal rate is determined by the speed and grit of
the sanding sheet. Different sanding sheets should be
used depending on the material to be machined and the
desired removal of the surface.
• The dusts and vapours generated by the use of sand-
ing sheet sanders or polishers can cause damage to
health (such as cancer, birth defects, asthma and/or
dermatitis); it is essential to carry out a risk assess-
ment in relation to these hazards and to implement
appropriate control mechanisms.
ATTENTION
Always disconnect the product from the compressed air
source before attaching or detaching the sanding sheet.

Note:
The removal rate and the sanding pattern are essentially
determined by the choice of sanding sheet and the con-
tact pressure. Only flawless sanding sheets deliver good
sanding performance.

Sanding
Sanding produces sanding dust. Always wear pro-
tective gloves and suitable respiratory protection
and clean the sanding sheet and workpiece at regu-
lar intervals using a vacuum cleaner or compressed
air.
Depending on the size and type of workpiece, ap-
propriate safety precautions must be taken. Use
suitable clamping devices to prevent the workpiece
from slipping.
In the event of an interruption in the compressed air
supply, release the trigger immediately.

the maximum working pressure is not exceeded. Ex-
cessive working pressure does not improve perfor-
mance, but only increases compressed air consump-
tion and accelerates wear of the product. Therefore,
always adhere to the technical specifications.

WARNING
• Any work not described in this operating manual must
be performed by an authorised specialist workshop
only.
• For safety reasons, replace worn or damaged parts.
• Sufficient and continuous oil lubrication is of crucial
importance for optimum function.
