- Regularly clean all parts of the machine using a soft cloth, brush or compressed air. Do not use cleaning agents
or solvents. A general cleaning should be done after every use to avoid future problems and ensure that the
machine is in ready condition for its next use.
WARNING: If blowing sawdust, wear a proper dust mask and eye protection to prevent debris from being
inhaled and blowing into your eyes.
- Always remove excess chips and waste debris from the machine, pay particularly attention around the motor air
inlets. Clean the dust extraction port and the lower compartment of the machine.
- All plastic parts should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. NEVER use solvents to clean plastic parts. They could
possibly dissolve or damage the material.
- Clean the dust hood.
- Keep the tables and the fence free of resin and rust. Clean them regularly with a non-flammable solvent, then
coat with a light film of dry lubricant spray or paste wax.
9.4.2 Maintenance
- Check the power cord and plug for any wear or damage.
- Check for any loose screws. Should any of the screws be loose, retighten them immediately. Failure to do so
could result in serious hazard.
- Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible.
- Check all accessories to ensure that they are in perfect working condition.
- The machine's ball bearings are lifetime lubricated, sealed, and do not need any further care.
- Keep the drive belts free of oil and grease to prevent slipping on the pulleys.
- After approximately 10 hours, lubricate the following partswith a light coat of care and maintenance spray:
bearings of infeed and outfeed rollers, bearings of pulley and gear wheel of the belts and pinions. Do not use oil!
- Treat threaded spindles for the height adjustment of the thicknessing table with dry lubricant only!
Disposal:
Do not dispose of electric tools together with household waste material!
In observance of European Directive on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation
in accordance with national law, electric tools that have reached the end of their life must be collected
separately and returned to an environmentally compatible recycling facility.
9.5 Moving and storing the machine
WARNING! The machine is heavy. Do not handle the machine alone and ask for help!
WARNING! Check that all moving parts of the machine are attached before lifting and moving.
WARNING! Check that the machine is properly secured before lifting and moving it.
Caution! Never lift or pull the machine by the tables. Get help from a third person and lift it by its base.
- When transporting the machine in or on a vehicle, ensure that it cannot move around unintentionally.
- The machine must be stored in a dry place and protected from bad weather (rain, snow, etc.). Do not leave the
machine outdoors; do not store it in a humid place. Store the machine in a room to prevent unauthorized use or
damage. Keep it away from children.
- The machine must be stored in a vertical and stable position; make sure that it cannot tip over.
10. Problems and solutions
! CAUTION! To prevent accidents, make sure that the plug is disconnected from the power
receptacle.
The problems described below are those that you can solve yourself. If the proposed operations do not solve the
problem, please contact your authorized service center.
Interventions other than those described in this chapter must be performed by a competent and qualified person.
Trouble
The machine does not work
when switched on.
Probable cause
No power supply.
Defective switch.
Overcurrent protection is on.

- Check the cable for breakage.
- Check the fuse
- Contact your authorized

- Let the motor cooldown and
reset the machine.
