Operational Safety

Do NOT use the welder:
- in poorly ventilated areas
- in damp or wet conditions
- in potentially explosive areas
- to defrost pipes
- near someone fitted with a pacemaker
- near inflammable materials
Incorrect use of the welder can be harmful to people, animals and valuable items. The
user of the welder is responsible for his/her own safety as well as the safety of others:

General
• Observe the general safety instructions.In addition to the safety instructions contai-
ned in this manual, special attention should be payed to safety instructions of the local
authority.
• Pass the instruction manual to anyone who uses the machine. Always ensure that
any third party using the machine has read and understood the operating instructions.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with redu-
ced physical, sensory or mental capabilities; or lack of experience and knowled-
ge; unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Keep children away from the welder at all times. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Always be alert and attentive when welding. Do not use the welder under the influ-
ence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of carelessness when using the devi-
ce can lead to serious injury.
• Always adopt a good stance.Ensure the welder is set up on a hard, sturdy surface.
• Avoid contact with hot parts. Do not touch any hot parts of the machine. Be aware
that many components of the machine can stay hot for a long period of time and can
cause burns, even after the machine has been turned off.
