III. Conditions of use
1. Intended purpose
EOlife® is a medical device to help healthcare professionals perform pulmonary ventilation during cardiopulmonary
resuscitation and adapt their technique to comply with international guidelines f rom the AHA and ERC
2. Indication for use
EOlife® is intended for use during cardiopulmonary resuscitation of cardiopulmonary arrest patients
3. Patients
EOlife is intended to be used on adult patients between 140 cm and 200 cm
3. Environment of use
EOlife is indicated to be used in pre-hospital care, during emergency patient transport in ambulance and in hospital
environment
EOlife® is intended for use in a home healthcare environment according to EN 60601-1-2
5. Users
EOlife is indicated to be used by healthcare professionals certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Users must inform himself about the safe use of the device before using it by reading the instructions for use
When the device is delivered to a department by an ARCHEON staff member or approved distributor, training should be
provided in the handling and use of EOlife®
6. Contraindications/Restriction on use
EOlife® is not approved for the following uses:
•
In a hyperbaric chamber
•
Near magnetic resonance imaging machines
•
Air ambulance
•
Pediatric and neonatal populations

and expose the patient, user or persons nearby to risks
