RECORDING MUTE

Use
this function
to create the 4.5-second
blanks
needed
for
proper operation of the music search function.
@
Press the recording mute ( © ) button during recording and the
deck will create a blank space by recording a section which con-
tains no signal for approximately four seconds. The deck will
then enter recording standby mode.
© To create a blank which is more than four seconds long, hold
the button down for the desired length of time. When the but-
ton is released, the deck will enter recording standby mode.
® To resume recording, press the pause (§§) button or the play-
back (» or <) button.
ERASING A TAPE
To erase the recorded contents of a tape, load the tape in DECK
tt (or 1) and follow the procedure below.
1. Set the REC LEVEL control to the MIN position.
2. Press the recording (@) button.
AUTO BLE TUNING
When tuning DECK II (or 1).
1. Load a tape in Deck II (or I).

The AUTO BLE does not work when the erasure prevention
tabs of the loaded cassette tape have been broken off.
2. Set the REV MODE switch to ==
or =>.
3. Press the BLE button of DECK II (or I).
The It (or |) indicator will flash in the AUTO
BLE display for
about 30 seconds, after which it will light steadily.
The tape will be forwarded for approximately one second after
pressing the start button so that recording will start from the
recordable portion of the tape.
The operation is completed when the start position is resumed.
When
tuning both decks in sequence
(Except for
CR-W603RS)
1. Load tapes in both decks.
2. Set the REV MODE switch to =<
(RELAY/SKIP).
3. Press the BLE button of DECK I.
AUTO BLE tuning starts from DECK | to DECK II.

If the BLE button of DECK Il is pressed, the tuning will stop
after only DECK I! is tuned.

A tuning signal will be recorded on the cassette in the cas-
sette deck when using AUTO BLE. The music and other in-
fomation already recorded on this cassette will be erased
from the point. where tuning starts.

a l'enregistrement

pendant l'enregistrement; la platine créera un passage vierge
en enregistrant une section qui ne contient aucun signal pen-
dant environ
quatre
secondes.
La platine passera
alors en
mode d'attente a l'enregistrement.

Pour créer un passage de plus de quatre secondes, maintenir
fa touche enfoncée pour la durée désirée. Lorsque la touche
est relachée,
la platine
passe
en
mode
d'attente
a !'enre-
gistrement.
@
Pour
reprendre
l'enregistrement,
appuyer
sur
la touche
de
pause { §—) ou la touche de lecture (Pm ou <q).
_ EFFACEMENT D'UNE BANDE
Pour effacer le contenu enregistré d'une bande, charger la bande
dans la Platine Il (ou |) et procéder comme
suit.
1. Régler la commande REC LEVEL sur Ia position ''MIN"'.
2. Appuyer sur la touche d'enregistrement (@).
3. Appuyer
sur la touche
de lecture
(P ou <) ou la
touche de pause (#1).
| ACCORD AUTO BLE
Lors de l'accord de la Platine I (ou 1).
1. Mettre une cassette en place dans la Platine II (ou 1).

La fonction AUTO BLE ne fonctionne pas lorsque les seg-
ments de prévention d'effacement de la cassette chargée
ont été brisés.
2. Régler le commutateur REV MODE sur Ia position
==
ou=.
3. Appuyer sur la touche BLE de la Platine Ii (ou 1).
L'indicateur Il (ou [) clignotera dans |'affichage AUTO BLE pen-
dant environ 30 secondes, puis restera allumé.
La bande sera avancée pendant environ une seconde aprés la
pression sur la touche de démarrage de sorte que I'enregistre-
ment commence a partir de la partie enregistrable de la bande.
L'opération est terminée lorsque la position de début est re-
prise.
Lors de I'accord
des deux
platines en séquence
(Sauf pour le CT-W603RS)
1. Mettre des cassettes dans les deux platines.
2. Régler fe commutateur
REV MODE
en position <=
(RELAY/SKIP).
3. Appuyer sur la touche BLE de la Platine I.
L'accord AUTO BLE commence de la Platine | et continue sur
la Platine I.

Sila touche BLE de la Platine tl est enfoncée, I'accord s'arré-
tera aprés l'accord de la seule Platine tl.

Un signal d'accord sera enregistré sur la cassette dans Ia pla-
tine cassette lors de I'utilisation de AUTO BLE. La musique
et les autres informations déja enregistrées sur cette cassette
seront effacées depuis le point de début de I'accord.
