THE FUNCTION CAN BE USED AND THE ICON THEN APPEARS IF THE ACTUAL TEMPERATURE IS
LOWER THAN THE TEMPERATURE SET/STORED IN THE MELTING CYCLE
Example: if melting is set to 85 °C, the function can be activated up to an actual temperature of 84 °C
AT THE END OF THE MELTING CYCLE, THE ICON KEEPS FLASHING (see the following paragraphs)
THE "MELTING OFF" ICON WILL NOT BE VISIBLE AFTER THE FLASHING ICON HAS BEEN PRESSED, I.E.
AFTER THE MELTING CYCLE HAS BEEN COMPLETED, AS THE ACTUAL TEMPERATURE WILL
NECESSARILY BE EITHER EQUAL TO OR HIGHER THAN THE SET MELTING TEMPERATURE
When the function is activated, regardless of whether a temperature has already been set, the set value disappears and the
melting cycle value appears in yellow, the cursor is positioned proportionally to the bar and turns yellow. The bar is
therefore a 20 °C setting bar: if the bar is all the way to the left, a temperature of 70 °C is set; if it is all the way to the
right, a temperature of 90 °C is set. The values can be adjusted using the slider or the + and - keys.
As this is a setting between 70 °C and 90 °C, the actual temperature will be displayed when the temperature is 70 °C and
above. The cursor switches from yellow to red every 30 seconds as a specific feature of melting mentioned above.
The 2 figures below represent this particular view.
WHEN THE SET TEMPERATURE IS REACHED
-an on/off beep sounds and the lower "melting on" icon flashes
"
-the set melting temperature (yellow) disappears to make way for the previously set temperature (white) and the slider
switches from yellow to red/white. The bar is again on a scale of 190 °C, with set and actual views
-if the temperature set before melting was activated was higher, the machine is set back to that temperature.
-if the temperature set before melting was activated was lower or no temperature was set, the machine set automatically
adjusts to the melting temperature just reached.
-stops the resistor on/off every 30 seconds, returning to classic operation.
If the timer is not pressed within 10 seconds, only the beep sound stops, but the flashing continues.
Pressing the melting symbol stops both the beep sound and the flashing, and deactivates the function by returning to the
off state
The image below shows the melting temperature of 85 °C being reached from a previously set temperature of 160 °C,
which was higher.
(
shows the melting temperature of 85 °C being reached without a temperature having been previously set, or starting from
a temperature lower than the melting temperature of 85 °C
