Installation in Booster Mode

Before you begin:

To use this seat in booster mode without lower anchors,
see instructions for Securing Your Child on page 19�
IMPORTANT:
seat to the vehicle seat even when unoccupied, since in
a crash an unsecured child restraint system may injure
occupants� Secure your child using the vehicle's lap-
shoulder belt system�
• Check that your vehicle has lower anchors.
• Check that your vehicle has a top tether anchor.
• Loosen the tether and place it over the back of the child seat
back to keep it from becoming pinned between the child seat
and vehicle seat during positioning.
• Adjust the child seat to the upright position and place forward
facing on the vehicle seat.
1� Pull seat cover and seat
pan forward to access
lower connectors�
2� Route the lower connector
strap along the green belt
path behind the seat pan
and firmly press the lower
connectors onto their
adjacent lower anchors�
NOTE: Verify that the
strap is not twisted.
3� Pull the end of the lower
connector strap to remove
slack�
4� Firmly press the tether
hook over a designated
vehicle tether anchor�
Remove slack�
5� Secure excess webbing
with the elastic strap�
