To remove the top/rear duct, remove screw from the center piece with a flat
blade screwdriver or coin. Remove the center piece. Push the rear end of the
side piece toward the center of the helmet then push it forward to release it.
Repeat for the other side.
To install the duct, first align the side piece with the recess on the helmet shell.
Slide it forward by approximately 5mm until the side piece drops off the guide
rail onto the shell, then, pull it backward to engage the front tab of the guide rail
on the helmet into the receptacle on the underside of the side piece as shown.
Swing the rear end of the side piece outward to slide the tab on the underside of
the side piece into the receptacle of the guide rail on the helmet. Be careful not
to scratch the paint surface of the helmet. Repeat for the other side. Position the
center piece over both side piece arms and align the front tabs in the vent hole,
and align the screw hole over the threaded insert in the helmet, then, screw and
tighten it with screwdriver until snug, but do not over tighten.

When first servicing the cheekpads, it is suggested that you do only one at a time
so that the other can be used as reinstallation guide.
To remove cheekpads, first undo chinstrap. Pull pad toward the rear of the
helmet, then inward to release and slide it off the strap.
To take off fabric covering for washing, peel the covering off until all the fabric
is on the face side surface. Then draw the covering through the opening by
grasping the rectangular collar to pull through the pad.
