16. Listening to DAB radio
You can play digital radio stations using the DAB operating mode. A good reception
via the integrated telescopic aerial is required for this. Align the aerial manually to
obtain the best-possible reception.
To listen to DAB radio, select DAB in the main menu and then press SELECT to
confirm or press the
SELECT button to confirm.
The following information is shown on the display:

DAB reception
•
DAB stereo reception
•
Time
•
WLAN reception strength
•
DAB reception strength
•
Station name
Pressing the INFO button on the remote control several times brings up additional
information:
•
Genre
•
Description of the station and frequency
•
Playback buffer
•
Information about the bit rate, codec used and channel information
•
Current date
You can display the slideshow picture in full screen mode by pressing
the PAIR button on the remote control. Press the PAIR button again to
minimise the image again.
16.1. Setting radio stations
Select a radio station from the station list by turning the dial or by using the
buttons on the remote control
Press SELECT or the SELECT button on the dial to play the radio station.
16.2. Storing radio stations
The DAB radio has 40 memory slots.
Once a radio station has been saved, the station's memory slot is shown
on the display next to a star during playback.
Select a radio station that you want to save as a favourite.
Press and hold the
device until the list of memory slots is shown on the display.
