Listen to messages (BS)
The phone shows on the display if you have
a new message.

NR means "Message"
Press the key
The phone announces how many new mes-
sages and how many old messages you
have. The messages will be replayed suc-
cessively. You can trigger the following func-
tions during replay.
Erase current message.
DEL
Play next message.
Repeat previous message.
Stop messages and end.
The TAM returns to the initial mode once the
playback has been completed. All incoming
messages are stored, except if you erased
a message during the playback.
Erase all messages (BS)
All messages will be erased by pressing the
key for more than 3 seconds. The phone
DEL
confirms the that the messages are erased
by sending a beep.
Remote control
You can access and control your TAM with
an external phone. For this purpose, act as
follows:
1. Call the answering machine by entering
your phone number into an external pho-
ne.
2. While the announcement is played, press
*
and enter the remote query security ID.

to replay the message.
3. The TAM will replay a sequence of com-
mands if the remote query security ID is
accepted. Use the stated commands for
the handling.
4. Hang the receiver up once you complete
access to the TAM.
The following command functions are
available:
1 Play main menu
2 Play back messages
3 Play back saved messages
0 Erase all messages
5 Set answering machine ON/OFF
6 Record outgoing message
After you recorded the outgoing message,

press # or
to end. The newly recorded out-
going message will be played automatically.
The following functions are available once
you pressed 2 or 3 to replay messages:
1 Repeat current message
2 Stop playback
0 Erase current message
