2.6 High water temperature alarm

A maximum allowed water temperature value can be specified for safety reasons. If the heat exchanger
outlet temperature exceeds the set threshold, heat recovery will be deactivated. The differential represents
a hysteresis for resetting the alarm.
2.7 Discharge temperature control
If heat recovery is active, the discharge temperature is lowered in proportion to the capacity required for
heat recovery.

To prevent heat recovery from excessively cooling the CO2, a function can be activated that calculates the
difference between the readings of the discharge temperature probe and a reference probe (heat exchanger
water inlet or outlet temperature), deactivating heat recovery when this value exceeds a set point for a
certain set period.
The function can be activated independently for both heat recovery modes.
The operating logic can be summarised as follows:
If both temperature probes are configured (Twi and Two)
Temperature delta = Tdisch - Two if the reference probe is Two
Temperature delta = Tdisch - Twi if the reference probe is Twi
If only probe Two is configured as the reference probe
Temperature delta = Tdisch - Two
If only probe Twi is configured as the reference probe
Temperature delta = Tdisch - Twi
