4.3 Bypass independent of actions relating to heat recovery (SW
ver. >= 4.0.0)
In addition to the bypass to maximise heat recovery, the gas cooler bypass can also be activated when no
actions relating to heat recovery are requested. This feature can be useful when, for example, the gas cooler
is at very low outside temperatures (typically in winter), and CO2 may be trapped inside the condenser. This
phenomenon can cause in high compressor discharge pressures, with consequent difficulty in correctly
controlling the gas cooler pressure via the HPV valve

In addition to the control parameter settings, low
temperature bypass management can also be enabled.
When heat recovery is not active, the bypass function
remains operational, however uses a new set point, shown
on this screen. The bypass will increase progressively as
the temperature drops below the set point, following the
previously set proportional + integral control.
If bypass management is set to modulating, this can be
further fine-tuned by setting a modulating set point in
proportion to the heat recovery request.
By enabling modulation, the set point will vary considering
heat recovery activation, the bypass action and whether
winter modulation is enabled.
