Check:
• Carry out a visual liquid end check
• Check the pump hose for leaks
• Check the hose connections for leaks
Shorter maintenance intervals may be required depending upon the
chemicals metered and the operating conditions.
Replace the pump hose (see "Repairs").
GUIDELINE
Depending on the operating conditions, the feed rate may become
smaller in the course of time. Therefore the pump hose should be
replaced from time to time whenever necessary.
The motor is maintenance free.
9 Repairs
CAUTION
• The rotating motor can trap fingers.
• Disconnect the pump from the power supply and ensure
that it cannot be switched on again while work is being
carried out on the equipment.
TAKE CARE
• Protect yourself against potentially hazardous chemicals
(safety goggles, protective clothing etc.).
• Depressurise the system.
• Empty the pump hose and rinse thoroughly with a suitable
agent.
• Rotate the rotor in a clockwise direction only.
Replace pump hose if it is defective or worn (see also "Device
overview"):
Detach suction and discharge hoses from their connectors
Release the fixing screw of the transparent lid and then take off
the transparent lid
Remove the hose connector (left) from its fitting.
