Commissioning

TAKE CARE
• Read through the Operating Instructions Manual carefully
before starting to commission.
• The pump may only be commissioned after it has been
correctly installed.
• The pump may be operated only when the transparent lid is
screwed on!
• Protect yourself against potentially hazardous chemicals
(safety goggles, protective clothing etc.).
Run the pump until the pump hose has filled.
Once the pump hose is full, switch off the pump
Reconnect the pump hose to the hose connector
Run the pump for a short period
Check the hose connections and the pipework for leaks.

Maintenance

CAUTION
• The rotating motor can trap fingers.
• Before working on the pump, switch it electrically dead and
secure the switch to prevent unintended switch-on.
TAKE CARE
• Do not touch the motor immediately after operation!
First allow the motor to cool down!
• Protect yourself against potentially hazardous chemicals
(safety goggles, protective clothing etc.).
Depressurise the system.
If the peristaltic pump that has been used with effervescent
or sticky chemicals has not been in operation for a long period, you
should check that the metering, suction and discharge hoses are in
a fit condition for further use.
