Installing hoses

TAKE CARE
• Use only original hoses having the stipulated hose
dimensions 6 x 4 mm or 10 x 4 mm, otherwise the security
of the connection is not ensured. Avoid reductions of the
hose sizes. The utilised hoselines must be able to withstand
twice the operating pressure of the peristaltic pump!
Assemble the suction and discharge lines:
Cut the end of the hose straight across
Unscrew a sleeve nut and push it over the hose.
Push the end of the hose onto the nozzle as far as the stop.
Connect the discharge line to the right-hand hose connector.
Connect the suction line to the left-hand hose connector.
Tighten the sleeve nuts.
Cut the free end of the suction line to length so that the foot
valve hangs just above the base of the chemical feed tank. If
using with precipitating chemicals, suspend the foot valve at
least 50 mm above the base of the tank.
Run a hoseline from the leakage nipple back into the tank.
