C.2 Transfer modes

The 011 Data Output Option can be set to two different transfer modes by means of a P/C board switch (see Installation
Instructions). These modes are:
Send on Transfer:
Send Continuous:
8
Standby
Calibrate
OFF (Display)
Configuration mode
Error
Lamp test
Overload
Underload
Tare
When the TRF button is pressed, the next stable result is transferred. The moment the transfer is
made can be seen from the brief blanking out of the display. These manually released results
are always identified by [[//]].
The balance transmits a measuring result after each display cycle, at a maximum of every
0.125 seconds (with baud rates of less than 2400 baud, correspondingly less frequently).
There are at least 25 bits "HIGH" between two strings.
Stable measuring results are identified by [ [S /] ]; unstable results by [ [SD] ].
If the balance cannot provide a reasonable result (e.g. when there is overload or underload),
[ [ SI ] ] is transferred.
If the TRF key is pressed while in this transfer mode, the balance transmits the next stable result
once with the identification [[//]].
The transfer can be recognized by the brief blanking out of the display.
If tare is pressed while in this transfer mode, the message [ [TA] ] is transferred automatically
after conclusion of the tare operation, followed immediately by CR and LF. [[TA]] is also transferred
when the balance is switched on.
