10. DISPOSAL
Repairing and disposing of the device
• Do not repair or modify the device yourself. Proper operation can no longer
be guaranteed in this case.
• Do not open the device except for the battery compartment. Failure to
comply will invalidate the warranty.
• Repairs must only be carried out by Customer Services or authorised re-
tailers. Before making a complaint, first check the batteries and replace
them if necessary.
• The device must not be disposed of with household waste. Dispose of the
device at a suitable local collection or recycling point in your coun-
try. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE

- Pb = battery contains lead
- Cd = battery contains cadmium
- Hg = battery contains mercury
