5.9 high limit switch location/reset
This appliance is equipped with a high limit switch as an added safety feature. Follow the steps below for removal
of the switch if servicing is required.
With Heat and Exhaust Management Kit (RSOHEM)
installed:
1. Remove the screws securing the vent kit cover
(FIG. 1).
2. Remove the 2 screws securing the high limit switch
bracket. Tilt the bracket and slide it out to access
the reset switch (FIG. 3.).
Without Heat and Exhaust Management Kit (RSOHEM)
installed:
1. Remove the screws securing the vent cover plate
and vent opening cover (FIG. 2.)
2. Remove the 2 screws securing the high limit
switch bracket. Tilt the bracket and slide it out to
access the reset switch (FIG. 3.).
