Transmission
Clutch:
multi-plate wet clutch (SS800);
multi-plate dry clutch (SS1000).
Clutch is operated by a control lever on left handlebar.
Drive is transmitted from engine to gearbox main shaft
via spur gears.
Gear ratio:
33/61(SS800);
32/59 (SS1000).
Gearbox:
6-speed.
Gearbox with constant mesh gears, gear change pedal
on left side of motorcycle.
Front/rear sprocket ratio:
15/39 (SS800);
15/38 (SS1000).
Total gear ratios:
1 st gear 13/32 (SS800) - 15/37 (SS1000)
2 nd gear 18/30 (SS800) - 17/30 (SS1000)

workshop.
