28. Handwash all parts and accessories with soapy
water. NEVER wash any parts, accessories, or the
appliance itself in an automatic dishwasher.
29. DO NOT submerge the power cord, the plug or the
appliance itself in water or other liquids.
30. DO NOT open the brew chamber or filter holder
while coffee is brewing, as injury (scalding) may
occur.
31. Ensure the filter holder is properly mounted and in
LOCK position before making coffee.
32. DO NOT try to repair the appliance yourself as this
may result in injury or void your warranty. Instead,
contact the nearest authorized service facility.
Important Notes:
Please do not touch the high-temperature

components (such as high-pressure steam tube,
water outlet, etc.) when using the coffee machine.
This appliance is designed to make coffee or heat

drinks. Be careful to avoid being scalded by sprays
of water or steam or due to improper use of the
appliance.
Power Supply Cords
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the
risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a
longer cord. However, longer power supply cords are
available and may be used while exercising appropriate
care.

If an extension cord is used:
Ensure the electrical specifications of the extension

cord are at least as great as the electrical
specifications of the appliance.
Ensure the cord is arranged so that it will not drape

over the table or countertop where it can be pulled,
tripped over, or present a danger to children.
Polarized Plugs
The power supply cord plug is polarized (one pin is
wider than the other). This is intended to reduce risk by
ensuring the plug can fit only one way into a polarized
outlet. If the plug does not fit into an outlet, reverse the
plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any
way.

Any servicing other than cleaning and user
maintenance should be performed by the authorized
